This hasn't been a particularly great day!
I'm hoping something spectacular will happen tonight to give me sort of a pick-me-up.
I've been MIA for a few days because my beloved MacBook Pro had to go to the doctor and get his battery fixed.
I was so sad when I sent him away.
I want to hug his square little body!
I refrained, mostly because the Geek Squad guy would probably think I was weird.
So, I'm using my super amazing, wonderful roommates computer instead.
Did I mention I love her?
As I'm getting older {24 in December!} I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life.
So far it's been frustrating and I've hit a lot of road blocks.
I'm just going to start doing crazy stuff like auditioning for Broadway and applying to work at the FBI.
Things that people always dream of, but don't think to pursue...
I guess people are afraid of getting rejected, but I just assume that's part of life.
I've grown accustom to not getting what I want on occasion {not generally from my parents...I know you're reading this mom and I wanted to give you credit. I'm spoiled}.
But anywho, I guess the point is, when you don't have fear of getting rejected, that's when you do the most risky stuff and in turn, maybe get the most rewards.
This has been another "Deep Thoughts With Lindsey".
Tune in next time for some Awkward and Awesomeness!!
:)
XOXO
Go for it darling! Dream big and go hard ;) You're SO right. There are so many people in this world that don't do something because they are afraid of rejection. The worst that can happen is getting told 'no'. That's it. Love your attitude!

I agree that fear of rejection is usually what holds people back! I've certainly dealt with my fair share of rejection but in the end it has made me a stronger person and I refuse to be too afraid to go after what I want :)
