Happy Thanksgiving, Friends!

I hope you all ate plenty of turkey this Thanksgiving!

I certainly did.

And pie.

And mashed potatoes.

And...well, lots of food!!

Wednesday night I drove down to my best friend's house.

Danielle's family was so super nice to have me stay with them for two nights.

I drove back to Lynchburg Friday and my friend Kathleen asked me over to her house for dinner.

Good thing her mom made plenty of vegetables to cleanse me from all that food from the previous night.

But in about 30 minutes I'm heading to Jacob's house to have Thanksgiving dinner with his family!

After this weekend, I'll probably not have to eat for a few days.

I'll try to take some pictures this weekend so my next post is more interesting...haha!

The Greater the Struggle, The More Glorious The Triumph

This is a short film I've watched a few times now.

It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

I parallel Mendes {the Butterfly Circus showman} to God.

Never turning His back, loving, and sometimes letting us fall so we can get up and see how strong we really are.

Take 20 minutes to really pay attention to this video.

Awkward and Awesome

I'm leaving in 30 minutes for the midnight premier of Breaking Dawn...

I'm SO excited.

I feel like such a nerd.

Luckily, I don't have to work tomorrow so I can stay up late without thinking, "Oh man, I have to get up in 5 hours."

Awkward:

- This conversation I just had with someone about renting my room.

Her: "I'm really interested, but...are there pets?"

Me: "Yeah, we have 1 dog."
Her: "Ooh ok.  I'm afraid of animals..."

Awkward!

- I'm wearing black and red to the movie tonight to show vampire support!  How old am I??  {24 next month!}

- Texting someone back really fast every time and them taking an hour.  I don't want to look desperate, but let's get this conversation over with already!

Awesome:

- Hair appointments!  I'm thinking this color...

Love the bangs!

- It's almost Thanksgiving...which means it's almost CHRISTMAS!

- Thank God for illegal frowned upon websites so I can watch my tv tomorrow morning that I'm missing tonight!!

.. I could live anywhere in the US ..

I would love to live in a bigger city, like Seattle, for a few years.  After living in Virginia for 5 1/2 years, I can see myself ending up in the south.  However, since my whole family lives in Alaska, I have a feeling that's where I'll end up!

Well, I don't have any at the moment.  I don't really want any either.  Who knows, maybe someday.

I wish I could dance.  I'm musically inclined, but I wish I had stuck with ballet or taken other dance classes.  I'm thinking about starting up sometime!  I <3 Julianne Hough.

Awkward and Awesome Thursday!

Today is my beautiful friend, Danielle's, birthday!

I won't say how old she turned because a lady never reveals her age...or her friends' age.

She is one of my best friends and so gorgeous, inside and out!

I am thankful for them everyday.

Danielle is the strongest, most honest person and I LOVE HER!

Ok, switching gears from my lovely friend, to A&A!

I know I always say, "It's been a while since my last A&A post..."

Well, the same goes for this time too! :)

Awkward:

- Change.  I'm not opposed to change, but it takes some adjusting.  I feel like my life is going to take some major adjusting pretty soon.

- The amount of time it takes me to catch up on 2 seasons of a show.  I just started watching The Vampire Diaries maaaaybe 1 month ago...I'm already caught up to the current season {which is season 3...episode 9...} Oh yeah, I've been caught up for a while.

Awesome:

- This video.

I literally cannot stop laughing every time I watch this.

I show it to every person who walks through my door.

- I've been getting some emails to do button swaps on the blog!  How fun!  I'm totally open to the idea, so feel free to email me! :)

- Not having to work tomorrow!  I'm excited to sleep in!

- Clint Eastwood.  He is one hot old man!  If anyone knows of a guy who looks like this

It's almost been two weeks since my last post!

Sorry I've been so MIA, but I just haven't felt inspired to write about anything recently.

I've been reading all of your blogs though. :)

Today I went to see Crazy, Stupid, Love for the second time.

It's just so great!

Ryan Gosling is so great!!

I love everything about that man.

That smile!

Those eyes!

Those abs!

I loved his character in the movie.

Okay, so he was a bit of a womanizer, BUT I will say that he knew what he wanted and he went after it.

In my world, where guys are too scared to even look at a girl, this is an attractive quality.

I could go on and on about how stupid guys are and how they could be dating the most amazing girl on the planet, yet still somehow feel like they need something else, but I won't.

Instead, I'll just dream about Ryan!!
